Principal
Kathy Barrett's detailed technical understanding of corporate and individual taxation is the backbone of AGH's taxation practice. Kathy's knowledge of income tax compliance, planning, structuring, and research, allows her to serve clients in industries including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and professional services. Her ability to forge a winning solution out of the most difficult fact patterns has been formed by more than 20 years advising clients in technical income tax matters. In addition to her client representation, Kathy monitors the AGH quality control process and directs the firm's technical research ensuring that each member of the tax staff is on the cutting edge of the latest developments.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Kathy is a graduate of Georgia State University. Her technical prowess is a result of her service in the United States Air Force while stationed in the US and Turkey. Kathy believes that her years serving our country, which earned her a Medal of Commendation, provided the sharp eye she uses in her role at AGH today.
