Paul Paris, CPAPaul Paris, the managing principal of AGH, enjoys an extensive professional background that provides the business and life lessons that guide him in representing his clients and in managing AGH. Representing emerging companies and established closely held businesses in the finance and service industries is a natural for Paul as he earned his expertise working for and with similar companies for more than 40 years. Through his experience as a Controller, Financial Analyst, Vice President of Finance, and Owner of various companies both in New York and Georgia, Paul is able to connect with each of his clients on a very personal level to understand not only their business, but their personal goals, objectives, and motivation. His ability to understand these aspects of each client allows him to offer results oriented business consulting and financial and tax planning. Additionally, Paul, who has been described as a Psychologist in an Accountant’s body uses finely tuned conflict resolution skills to help broker arbitration and mediation settlements for merger and acquisition activities and troubled businesses.

In his role as Managing Principal of one of the leading accounting firms in the Southeast, Paul is responsible for creating the vision and direction of the firm. Focused on communication within the firm, career paths for each member of the firm and revenue growth, Paul guides the firm as it continues its history as trusted advisors providing detailed expertise through exceptional professionals to outstanding clients.

Paul, a native of Brooklyn, New York, has lived in Atlanta since 1976. He graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia in 1965 with a Bachelors degree in Math and received an MBA in Accounting from the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York in 1974.
