June 8, 2007 - ATLANTA – Accounting firm Aarons, Grant & Habif, LLC (AGH) recently announced that Principal and COO Randy Gold, was awarded the Abe Schwartz Young Leadership Award from the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta at its annual meeting on June 7, 2007. The award recognizes outstanding leadership in the Jewish community, community agencies, institutions, synagogues and Jewish organizations among individuals under the age of 40. Also receiving the award was Seth A. Cohen, a partner at law firm Kilpatrick Stockton.
Randy is committed to his work in the community, as an active member of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, an organization which serves to strengthen members of the Jewish community through unique and engaging programming. Recently, he chaired the annual phone-a-thon which raised more than $1 million in five nights to benefit community-related programs. In addition, Randy has served as long-time board member and treasurer of Jewish Family and Career Services, a non-sectarian agency helping both Jewish and non-Jewish members of the community meet the challenges of daily life. In addition to these organizations, Randy also serves as a board member and volunteer at American Jewish Committee and Atlanta Scholars Kollel, and was a participant in the Wexner Heritage Program Atlanta class of 2005-2007.
As Principal and Chief Operating Officer at AGH, Randy brings talent and experience to the firm’s real estate and construction practice. He has an extensive background representing commercial and multifamily real estate developers and investors through purchase/sale transactions, deal structuring, consulting and reporting. With more than 14 years of experience representing pension funds, private investment groups, insurance companies and builders with portfolio assets ranging from $25 million to $4 billion, Randy is responsible for helping to create the strategy and tactics to support AGH’s long term vision of developing expert team members who provide excellent client communication and service.
A native of Atlanta, Randy grew up in Charleston, SC and graduated from The University of Georgia. |
